While browsing around on my phone the other day i came across a list totally comprised of zombie games. At first it took me by surprise but then i figured, hey, people love zombie games. So i downloaded a few to try.
Be-Zombied: It's like Bejeweled where you have to match 3 or more in a row and beat the clock. With this one though it's specific, you have to match certain pieces of the zombies and if you match a large string of pieces you get rewarded with either a chainsaw or a stick of dynamite. Kind of a cute little game and fun for all ages. No blood, guts, or serious violence so it's family friendly.
Typing Zombie: Seriously fast paced typing tool where as Zombies appear on the screen you have to type whatever is written above them to kill them. Words can be anywhere from a single letter up to seven or eight characters. The more you kill the faster the game moves. For every letter you get right you hear a shotgun sound, for every word you get right one zombie goes down. But watch out, if they get close enough they can damage you by hitting your screen. Great typing practice and tells you how many words per minute (WPM) you can manage.
Have you tried any Zombie apps? Post about it here.

Took a while to figure out the rules because it's slightly complex but here's the idea. CvZ is like slots meets coin pusher with zombies. There is a sweeping arrow at the bottom of your screen and when you click it the arrow tosses a coin in the direction it's pointing. The idea is to hit a spinning wheel full of zombies and knock out the zombies one at a time. Every time you KO a zombie a three wheel slot behind them spins and you have a chance to win coins and prizes. The coins, whether they hit or miss, are slid down onto a pushing rack and like the coin dozer games it pushes coins back at you and whatever falls off you get back.
Not a bad game, cutesy, family friendly, but more complex than i think is really required. I'll give it 3 out of 5.

You can hide in houses and ransack them at the same time collecting ammo or money to buy upgrades. It is a pretty simple game to play, you just either bash in the zombie skulls with some sort of melee, or you shoot them with various guns. There are other weopns you can buy and upgrade to as well. It was a free app, so it is worth giving it a shot if you are a zombie fan. Not too gross either, so it is family friendly if you let the kiddos play with games with a little blood spill.
